Job Summary
We are looking for a Sr. Quality Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and it is a plus if they have experience in Data Governance. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
- Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes identifying defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
- Ensure that all software releases meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Utilize Java programming skills to enhance and maintain automated testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain test data management strategies to support testing activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers on best practices and testing methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.
Qualifications
- Must have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Nice to have experience in Data Governance domain.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
