Retention Marketing Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a Retention Marketing Manager to own and scale customer retention across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and CRM channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing repeat purchases, customer lifetime value (LTV), and overall customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Email Marketing campaigns.
- Manage and optimize WhatsApp Marketing campaigns.
- Build automated customer journeys and flows.
- Create abandoned cart, browse abandonment, welcome, win-back, and post-purchase sequences.
- Segment customers based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns for product launches, sales, and seasonal events.
- Work closely with the design team for creatives and campaign assets.
- Analyze campaign performance and improve open rates, CTR, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Develop loyalty, referral, and repeat-purchase strategies.
- Monitor customer retention metrics and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand communication.

Must-Have Skills
- Experience with Email Marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, etc.)
- Experience with WhatsApp Marketing tools
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing
- Experience building automated flows and customer journeys
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Copywriting and campaign planning experience
- Ecommerce experience is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Ecommerce Retention Marketing experience
- Experience working with D2C brands
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and CRM strategies
- Proven track record of generating revenue through retention channels
