Job Description: Retention Marketing Intern

About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who is interested in automated flows for customer retention. The role involves a mix of creative copywriting, campaign execution and data reporting with a strong eagerness to learn.
You'll work closely with the retention strategist and brand managers to support smooth campaign flows, timely reporting and clear communication across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and checking basic automated flows such as Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Repeat Purchase, and Win-back journeys.
- Support the scheduling and execution of WhatsApp, Email, and SMS campaigns using retention marketing tools.
- Write short and clear copies for WhatsApp messages, email subject lines, and SMS campaigns.
- Maintain campaign trackers and help prepare basic performance reports using Google Sheets/Excel.
- Support the execution of retention campaigns, offers, bundles, loyalty nudges, and repeat purchase reminders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaign tasks are completed on time.
Requirements
- Freshers or early career candidates can apply
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel
- Good written communication skills to write simple and clear campaign messages.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with deadlines and handling multiple brand tasks.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce brands, Shopify, customer lifecycle, or repeat purchase journeys is a plus.
