As a Senior Retail Store Manager at Reliance Retail, you will oversee end-to-end store operations at locations in Nagpur, Bhandara, and Gadchiroli. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with up to 10 years of relevant experience, responsible for driving sales, profitability, team performance, and customer satisfaction within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proven experience in inventory control, including monitoring stock levels, ordering, and minimizing shrinkage (Mandatory skill).
  • Demonstrated expertise in profit and loss management, ensuring budget compliance and maximizing financial outcomes for the store (Mandatory skill).
  • Solid background in retail operations, encompassing day-to-day management of store activities, policies, and store performance metrics (Mandatory skill).
  • Robust team leadership capabilities, including recruiting, mentoring, and motivating staff to achieve collective and individual targets.
  • Strong customer service orientation, consistently ensuring high standards and quick resolution of customer queries or complaints.
  • Loss prevention knowledge, with skills in implementing security measures, monitoring compliance, and reducing store theft or fraud incidents.
  • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) to effectively manage rapid stock turnover and consumer demand patterns.
  • Outstanding communication, planning, and organizational skills to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders for seamless operations.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Drive overall store profitability by executing effective sales strategies and managing budgets in alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end store operations including merchandising, inventory control, visual display, and staff deployment.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales and support team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences, proactively resolving complaints and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
  • Control and optimize inventory flow, reviewing stock levels and adjusting order quantities to maximize sales and turnover.
  • Implement loss prevention procedures, conduct regular audits, and train staff on security protocols to prevent shrinkage.
  • Enforce company operational standards, policies, and compliance with safety and legal regulations at all times.
  • Analyze sales trends and local market insights to adapt promotional and merchandising strategies for increased competitiveness.
