Role summary

Own end-to-end store operations and deliver sustained sales growth. Lead, coach, and scale a high-performance team while upholding Gokyo's customer experience, visual standards, and operational discipline.

Key responsibilities

Achieve monthly revenue, conversion, ATV, and UPT targets

Workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and weekly coaching; build a strong bench

Daily SOPs: opening/closing, cash, billing, stock receiving, RTV, shrink control

Inventory health: cycle counts, replenishment, size-curve integrity, ageing control

Visual merchandising execution and weekly refreshes aligned to brand guidelines

Local marketing: community outreach, trek clubs, partnerships, and micro-events

Reporting: daily MIS, sell-through, bestsellers/slow movers, and action plans

Coordination with HO for supply, VM, marketing, HR, and finance

Qualifications

510 years apparel retail experience with at least 2 years leading a store team

Track record of meeting sales targets and improving KPIs in outdoor/athleisure/sportswear

Strong people leadership, rota planning, and performance management

Proficient with POS, Excel/MIS, inventory systems, and basic retail math

Customer-first mindset; calm under pressure; hands-on problem solving

Flexibility for weekends/holidays, physical store work, and periodic travel for training

Nice to have

Local market knowledge of Thane/Central Mumbai and nearby catchments

Passion for outdoors, trekking, travel communities, or endurance sports

Experience launching new stores or turning around underperforming ones
