Role Title: Retail Sales Executive – EBO
Work Location: Rynox Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) – Bengaluru, India
Reporting to: Retail Store Manager
About the Role:
The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for driving in-store sales while delivering a high-quality, experience-led customer journey. The role focuses on engaging customers proactively, understanding their needs, and guiding them towards the right product solutions. Beyond transactions, the role contributes to creating a consistent and premium brand experience at the store level.
Role Mandate: Drive individual sales performance while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the standards of a Rynox experience store.
What You'll Work On:
- Achieve individual monthly sales targets through effective customer engagement
- Drive conversion of walk-ins into buyers through consultative selling
- Increase average transaction value through upselling and cross-selling
- Deliver a high-quality, personalized in-store customer experience
- Handle billing and POS transactions accurately
- Maintain strong product knowledge and communicate features clearly
- Ensure assigned section/display is clean, stocked, and visually maintained
- Support inventory checks and stock management activities
- Assist in visual merchandising and in-store promotions
- Handle customer queries and basic issue resolution on the floor
- Support store operations during peak hours
- Step in to manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
- Assist with basic product installation where required
- Contribute to store-led content and social media initiatives when needed
How You'll Work:
- Approach every walk-in customer proactively and initiate conversations
- Understand customer needs through questioning and active listening
- Recommend solutions based on use-case, budget, and preference
- Demonstrate products and connect features to real-world benefits
- Adapt approach based on customer behavior and buying intent
- Build rapport to drive trust, repeat visits, and long-term engagement
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and team to ensure smooth store functioning
What Success Looks Like:
- Consistently achieves 90–110% of individual monthly sales targets
- Maintains strong walk-in to conversion ratios
- Drives higher average bill value through add-ons and bundled selling
- Customers spend more time engaging and show higher buying intent
- Increase in repeat customers and positive customer feedback
- Trusted by the Store Manager to handle peak hours independently
- Demonstrates ownership of assigned section and store responsibilities
- Proactively engages customers and supports team during high traffic
Prior Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales
- Background in automotive, riding gear, apparel, or premium retail preferred
- Freshers considered only with relevant automotive or related educational background
- Exposure to high-value or high-ticket sales is an advantage
- Comfortable handling customer-facing roles in a retail environment
- Ability to explain technical product features in a simple manner
- Strong inclination towards upselling and cross-selling
Educational Background:
- Graduate preferred
- Relevant automotive or related education is an added advantage
