Retail Salesperson

Since 2016, TMH has expanded its portfolio to include luxury carpets and rugs sourced from Belgium and Turkey. The store provides customers with quality sleep solutions and home décor options in one convenient location. TMH focuses on product variety, customer satisfaction, and a welcoming in-store experience for shoppers.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Salesperson role based in Pollachi. The Retail Salesperson will welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable mattresses, carpets, and rugs. Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, demonstrating product options, and guiding customers through the selection and purchasing process. The role involves maintaining store displays, ensuring products are well presented, handling billing and basic documentation, and supporting inventory checks. The Retail Salesperson will also assist with after-sales support, respond to customer queries, and contribute to meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to work toward individual and store targets.
• Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge of mattresses, carpets, and rugs, and be willing to learn brand-specific features.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse customers and build long-term relationships.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills, including billing and record keeping, are beneficial.
• Previous experience in retail, furniture, or home décor sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and collaborate effectively with store team members.
