Job Summary:
As aSales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for walk-in customers, helping them explore a curated range of textiles and fabrics. Your primary responsibility is to ensure an excellent in-store experience through product knowledge, customer handling, and strong sales skills. This role requires an approachable personality, good negotiation abilities, and a passion for textile retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Sales:
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a warm and professional manner
Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable options
Explain craftsmanship, pricing, and usage clearly and confidently
Handle sales transactions, custom orders, and customer requests
Build long-term relationships with repeat and high-value customers
In-Store Presence & Operations:
Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
Actively contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
Work closely with the billing and stock team to manage orders and availability
Stay present on the floor during peak business hours to support walk-ins
Inventory & Display Management:
Participate in daily stock checks and tagging
Ensure product displays are neat, fresh, and customer-ready
Help maintain stock records and minimize shrinkage or loss
Customer Service & Store Experience:
Resolve customer queries with a calm and helpful approach
Maintain store cleanliness and uphold grooming standards
Represent the brand with confidence and professionalism
Participate in periodic training sessions to enhance product knowledge and soft skills
What We're Looking For:
Strong knowledge of textiles, silhouettes, and handling orders and alterations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good negotiation and customer convincing ability
Presentable, punctual, and service-oriented
Comfortable working in a physical retail environment
