Role Description This part-time, on-site Retail Pharmacist role is based at our location in Gurugram. The Retail Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, provide medication counseling, and ensure safe usage of all therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, maintaining inventory, managing refills, and supporting regulatory and documentation requirements. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare providers, responding to patient inquiries, and supporting homecare service integration when needed. The Retail Pharmacist will uphold high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality while contributing to an efficient and supportive pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription processing, and medication safety practices.
  • Experience in patient counseling, including clear communication of dosage, side effects, and adherence instructions.
  • Ability to manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control, record-keeping, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Comfort using pharmacy management software, digital records, and basic computer applications.
  • Relevant pharmacy degree (B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or equivalent) and valid pharmacist license/registration as required by local authorities.
  • Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and interact professionally with patients and caregivers.
  • Prior experience in retail or community pharmacy is preferred; experience with homecare or primary care settings is an advantage.
