Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Pharmacist located in Chennai. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing accurate medical advice to customers, and maintaining medication inventory. The pharmacist will also oversee the operations of the pharmacy, ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, and provide excellent customer service to meet patients needs. Additionally, they will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care and medication usage.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and prescription processing
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage inventory
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Compliance with legal and ethical obligations in pharmacy practice
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
- Licensure as a registered pharmacist in the state of Tamil Nadu
- Prior experience in retail pharmacy is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required
