Job Description

About the role : Very Impactful role in India's foremost Luxury departmental store.

Ideal Candidate :

  • Someone who enjoys the daily grind of activities and takes pride in their impact on the business.
  • Has done retail operations for 5+ years

  • Extremely high on ownership
  • Has demonstrated Execution/on floor ops rigor
  • Experience of a big box retail (is a plus but not mandatory)

Languages : English (mandatory)

Education : Min Graduate (Post Grad is a plus)

Key Result Areas:

New Store Opening

  • Activities related to Lease deed/Agent agreement, GST license, getting Licences, Registration Certificate, new store stationery requirement, Telephone connection
  • Liaison with the bank for arranging of EDC Machine installation with complete details of showroom code, shopper code etc.
  • Liaison with the bank for a Cash & Cheque pickup facility with complete details of showroom code, shopper code etc.
  • Receive request and check for completeness, Carry out duplicate check. Escalate queries to Business, if any
  • Creation of Showroom code / Shopper account / SAP Code & Blocking of Code till all formalities are completed

Discount Implementation/Debit note advice

  • Inform the management for stock shortages
  • Responsible for Discount stickering on products accurately

Store Operational Issues

  • Resolving issues related to AXPOS , IT, Stock , Renovation, Stock Pickup, Stock short/excess, All licences, Legal, , Issue PO /quotation for inst sales (as per direction of the management)
  • Collect cheque from the store for the inst order and ensure the bill is done after cheque realization.
  • Co-ordinate Cash/cheque pick up, Short/excess banking related issues, Credit card related issues with the Cashiering and bank teams

BOH Upkeep

  • Ensure that the Back of the House/Stock storage area is always neat and tidy and upholds the highest standards of backroom management
  • All non selling merchandise to be stacked at their respective zones

Stock Take

  • Responsible for Stock take planning and execution, Informing stores/RE's & keeping ready for external audit, Reconciliation, Maintain and publish reports, SIT report ( stock in transit )

Inventory Management

  • Complete responsibility of Receiving the stock in store, installing the safety tags & price tags. And ensure that steamed garments are taken out on the floor
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly audits of fashion/beauty/accessories and non selling merchandise as per direction from HO
  • Follow all due process of fulfilling Omni channel-orders from the store

Alterations

  • Manage the alteration department of the store
  • Co-ordinate with Sales Team for trials and delivery post alteration

Facilities Management

  • Ensure proper functioning of the store from facilities and maintenance perspective
  • Co-ordinate with vendors for repair/maintenance/replacement activity

Legal

  • Inform of any Summons/Notices from Government and all important Communications to store/team to HO Management/Legal teams

Store license

  • Ensuring all the required licenses like Trade license, Shops & Establishments license, Music Licence-PPL IPRS, Other licence-city specific are procured and renewed as per requirement
