The role:
We are now looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to join our team in India.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving retail demand and enhancing brand visibility by planning and executing integrated marketing programs across stores and local markets.
This role partners closely with sales, ops, merchandising, and e-commerce to deliver consistent in-store experiences and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Retail Marketing Strategy: Build and execute store marketing plans aligned to business goals, sales targets, and target audiences.
• Campaigns (ATL/BTL) & Retail Activations: Lead end-to-end campaigns to drive footfall and conversion— promotions, events, sampling/demos, promoters, partnerships, and ATL support (OOH/print/radio/digital).
• POSM & Visual Merchandising: Own POSM development and retail branding; partner with VM/ops on store layouts, signage, and display compliance.
• Rural Marketing & Channel Activation: Execute Tier 3/4 and rural programs (haat/mandi activations, van campaigns, dealer/distributor engagement) with localized communication.
• Budget & ROI: Manage budgets and agency/vendor partners to maximize impact and efficiency.
• Analytics & Insights: Track KPIs (footfall, conversion, sales lift, CAC), analyze results, and recommend optimizations.
• Market/Competitive Intelligence: Monitor trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities and risks.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Master's degree in marketing.
• 8–10 years of retail marketing experience.
• Minimum 5 Years of relevant work experience in the mobile handset industry.
• Proven experience delivering integrated offline campaigns (ATL/BTL), retail activations, and local marketing.
• Strong analytics, KPI reporting, and optimization mindset.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management; comfortable managing budgets and multiple priorities.
