Role Purpose
Own and drive end-to-end inventory management across warehouse and stores, ensuring accuracy, availability, and control while minimizing shrinkage and operational inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Own complete warehouse operations including inward, outward, and inter-store transfers
- Ensure accurate GRN, put-away, binning, and dispatch processes
- Drive real-time inventory visibility across warehouse and stores
- Process & SOP Ownership
- Design and implement robust inventory SOPs across all locations
- Standardize processes for receiving, storage, transfers, and dispatch
- Ensure system adherence and audit readiness
- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain high inventory accuracy across all locations
- Own cycle counts, stock takes, and periodic audits
- Investigate and resolve variances
- Shrinkage & Loss Prevention
- Drive shrinkage control initiatives across stores and warehouse
- Monitor pilferage, damages, and process leakages
- Implement controls to reduce loss
- Stock Health Management
- Manage damaged, defective, and expired inventory
- Ensure timely liquidation or return to vendors
- Drive ageing inventory action plans
- System & Exception Management
- Resolve issues related to INF (Item Not Found), WBC (Wrong Barcode), and price mismatches
- Work closely with tech and category teams to ensure data accuracy
- Ensure seamless system integration across POS, WMS, and ERP
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with category, store ops, finance, and supply chain teams
- Enable smooth replenishment and stock availability
Required Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Operations / Commerce
812 years of experience in retail inventory & warehouse management
Key Skills
Strong understanding of WMS / ERP systems
Process-driven and detail-oriented
Analytical mindset
