About CAVA

CAVA is a fast-growing athleisure brand redefining activewear for the Indian audience. As we scale our offline presence across EBOs and leading MBOs, we are building a strong retail backbone to drive brand visibility, sales performance, and operational excellence on the ground.

Role Overview

As the Retail Head, you will own and lead CAVA's offline retail business across Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs). This is a strategic and managerial role where you will be responsible for driving sales, strengthening retail partnerships, setting store standards, and building a high-performing retail team.

You will act as the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that CAVA's brand vision translates consistently across every physical touchpoint while delivering strong commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Strategy & Business Ownership

  1. Own the overall performance of CAVA's offline retail channel, including sales, growth, and store-level profitability.
  2. Define retail KPIs, targets, and expansion priorities across EBOs and MBOs.
  3. Drive sell-through, inventory efficiency, and revenue growth through strong on-ground execution and partner collaboration.
  4. Work closely with leadership to plan store expansion, partner onboarding, and city-level growth strategies.

EBO & MBO Partner Management

  1. Serve as the senior point of contact for all retail partners and key stakeholders.
  2. Build long-term relationships with MBO partners to secure better visibility, space, and commercial terms.
  3. Ensure alignment with partners on assortments, replenishment cycles, and performance expectations.
  4. Lead negotiations on in-store activations, visibility initiatives, and joint business plans.

Store Operations & Excellence

  1. Set and enforce standards for planograms, VM, store hygiene, product availability, and customer experience.
  2. Oversee execution of promotions, schemes, launches, and seasonal campaigns across stores.
  3. Conduct regular store audits and performance reviews to identify gaps and opportunities.
  4. Implement SOPs and processes to ensure consistency across locations.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  1. Build, manage, and mentor a team of retail executives, merchandisers, and field staff.
  2. Set clear goals, review performance, and enable teams with training and product knowledge.
  3. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and brand pride within the retail team.

Insights, Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  1. Track and report channel-level performance, store-wise sales, and operational metrics.
  2. Share structured insights on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activity.
  3. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to drive smoother retail operations and better decision-making.

Who You Are

610 years of experience in retail operations, sales, or channel management within fashion, lifestyle, or apparel brands.

Proven experience managing EBOs and MBOs, preferably at a regional or national level.

Strong commercial mindset with the ability to read numbers, identify trends, and drive action.

Experience leading and scaling on-ground retail teams.

Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Comfortable with frequent travel and hands-on store involvement.

Entrepreneurial, structured, and excited about building retail from the ground up.

Prior experience in having gone through the process of opening new retail stores is a must
