Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Oracle Retail Developer with 10–12 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Retail modules including RMS, SIM, RESA, RPM, and REIM. The ideal candidate will have strong development and support experience across both on-premise and cloud implementations. This is an individual contributor role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Oracle Retail applications including RMS, SIM, RESA, RPM, and REIM.
- Work on both on-prem and cloud-based Oracle Retail environments.
- Develop and maintain custom solutions using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Oracle APEX.
- Write and maintain Unix/Shell scripts for batch processing and automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and data issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment activities.
- Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Oracle Retail Suite (RMS, SIM, RESA, RPM, REIM).
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- - Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- - Oracle Forms and Reports
- - Oracle APEX
- - Unix/Shell Scripting
- Experience with both on-premise and Oracle Retail Cloud implementations.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Retail integration frameworks.
- Familiarity with Oracle Retail batch jobs and data migration.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Oracle Retail Cloud certification is a plus.
