Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Thane for a Retail Draftsman. The Retail Draftsman will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and blueprints that translate design concepts into executable retail layouts. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers and project managers, ensuring designs meet client specifications, and updating plans to comply with regulatory and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves reviewing material requirements and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure accurate implementation.

The role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, layout plans, construction documents for retail stores, kiosks etc.

Qualifications

• Technical drawing and drafting skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
• Experience in space design, layout planning, and creating floor plans for retail environments
• Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and material specifications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with design teams and project stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree or a diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Prior experience in retail design is an advantage
