Job SummaryWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Consultant with strong jewellery knowledge to act as a vital link between retail stores and the production team. The role focuses on coordination, stock management, timely jewellery production, repairs, and smooth operational flow across stores.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Vendor Coordination- Coordinate closely with the production/manufacturing team to ensure jewellery pieces are produced accurately and within committed timelines.
- Follow up regularly to expedite urgent orders and priority designs.
- Ensure design specifications, quantities, and quality standards are clearly communicated.
Retail Store Coordination- Act as the primary point of contact between retail store staff and the production team.
- Coordinate with store teams for:
- Sending damaged or repair-required jewellery back to production.
- Replacement or rework follow-ups.
- Address operational concerns raised by retail staff related to jewellery availability and quality.
Inventory & Stock Management- Ensure adequate stock availability at retail stores at all times.
- Conduct internal stock counts periodically and reconcile discrepancies.
- Track movement of jewellery between stores, production, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate stock records and reports.
Travel & On-Ground Support- Travel to stores, production units, and vendors as required.
- Support store launches, audits, or urgent operational needs when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong knowledge of jewellery (gold, diamonds, gemstones, manufacturing basics).
- Prior experience in jewellery retail operations, merchandising, or production coordination preferred.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication skills to handle multiple stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Comfortable with frequent travel.
