Restaurant Manager – Japanese Cuisine Colaba, Mumbai
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead operations at a premium Japanese restaurant in Colaba, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Japanese or Pan-Asian dining concepts, with a strong focus on guest experience, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain high standards of authentic Japanese hospitality and service culture
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house team
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and handle guest relations proactively
- Coordinate closely with kitchen team for seamless service delivery
- Manage reservations, floor planning, and table turn efficiency
- Monitor service quality, hygiene, and brand standards
- Handle inventory control, ordering, and cost management
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management
Candidate Profile- Proven experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Prior experience in Japanese or Pan-Asian restaurant is mandatory
- Strong understanding of fine dining or premium casual operations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong communication and guest handling abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-energy service environment
