Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restaurant Manager - Japanese Cuisine in Mumbai. The Restaurant Manager-Japanese Cuisine will be responsible for the smooth running and profitability of the restaurant. The Restaurant Manager-Japanese Cuisine should be passionate about quality food and customer satisfaction and ensure that the restaurant meets quality, health, and safety standards as well as customer satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager Cuisine will maintain the restaurant's reputation and ambience by planning and supervising daily operations.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree, ideally in hospitality or management is preferred
  • 5+ years of management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in the Japanese Cuisine segment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building, motivating, and leading a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and P&L statements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations while managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Expertise in Japanese Cuisine, culture, and language would be a plus
  • Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage service
