Restaurant Manager (Chinese Cuisine)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations.

The successful candidate will play an important role in leading the restaurant team, maintaining service and food quality standards, managing manpower and supporting the overall performance and growth of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service

• Lead, coach and motivate the restaurant team to deliver excellent customer service

• Plan and manage staff deployment and work schedules according to operational needs

• Monitor food quality, service standards and overall customer experience

• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues professionally

• Monitor inventory, ordering, wastage and operating costs

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and company standards

• Conduct staff training and provide ongoing coaching to improve team performance

• Monitor outlet sales and operational performance and support initiatives to achieve business targets

• Work closely with the management team on operational improvements and business development

Requirements

• Relevant experience in restaurant, hospitality or F&B operations

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Customer-oriented with a positive and hands-on approach

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities

• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to the restaurant's operating schedule

• Experience in Chinese cuisine or a similar restaurant concept will be an advantage

• Ability to communicate effectively in English for workplace communication knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage where the role involves communicating with Mandarin-speaking customers or team members
