We are looking for a confident and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations of a renowned fine dining continental restaurant in Goregaon West.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in premium dining, excellent customer service standards, and solid understanding of restaurant P&L.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with brand standards.
- Manage and train the front-of-house team, ensuring high performance and discipline.
- Monitor restaurant finances, including P&L, budgeting, cost control, and sales targets.
- Maintain quality standards for food, hygiene, safety, and service.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and VIP guest relations.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and operations teams for seamless service flow.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, food safety, and statutory requirements.
- Drive revenue through upselling, special promotions, and customer engagement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Build and maintain a positive work culture.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in fine dining or premium casual dining restaurants.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ staff.
- Strong understanding of restaurant P&L and financial metrics.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced operations and resolve issues on the floor.
- Strong leadership, grooming, and interpersonal skills.
- Preference for candidates from hospitality brands, luxury dining, hotel restaurants, or premium standalone outlets.
Preferred Background
- Experience with brands like Olive Group, Social/Impresa, Massive Restaurants, PizzaExpress, Cococart caf, Bastian, Trident/Marriott/Hyatt outlets, or other premium dining venues.
- Hospitality degree/diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
