About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensure exceptional customer experience, and drive overall business performance. This role requires strong operational control, team leadership, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
  • Oversee end-to-end restaurant operations including service, kitchen coordination, and billing
  • Ensure smooth daily functioning during peak and non-peak hours
  • Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and service
2. Team Leadership
  • Manage and supervise staff including kitchen team, service staff, and cashiers
  • Handle staff scheduling, shifts, and manpower planning
  • Train and develop team members to maintain service excellence
3. Customer Experience
  • Ensure top-notch customer service and satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations effectively
  • Maintain brand standards in presentation and service
4. Sales & Revenue Management
  • Drive daily sales targets and maximize revenue
  • Upsell and introduce strategies to increase average billing value
  • Monitor daily performance and take corrective actions
5. SOPs & Process Control
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, service, and operations
  • Continuously improve processes for efficiency
6. Inventory & Cost Control
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and wastage
  • Coordinate with procurement/vendors for timely supply
  • Control food costs and operational expenses
7. Compliance & Hygiene
  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI guidelines and hygiene standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across kitchen and service areas
  • Be audit-ready at all times
8. Reporting & Coordination
  • Track and report daily sales, expenses, and operational metrics
  • Coordinate with management/owners for updates and improvements
  • Work closely with HR for hiring and staff management
Key Requirements
  • Strong experience in restaurant/QSR/F&B operations
  • Proven ability to manage large teams, including blue-collar staff
  • Hands-on leadership with a problem-solving mindset
  • Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and compliance standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
