What You will be doing:
- The DevOps API Engineer with strong REST API skills will assess new CI/CD technologies, develop integrations, pilot them, and roll them out onto live projects.
- This role will be a thought leader with large influence on the DevOps approach for the company.
- The role combines superior technical knowledge, automation expertise, and development process knowledge to bring about innovative process changes and shifts in work culture.
. API Development & Integration:
- Create integration between our systems and support advanced pipelines in Harness, integrate with testing frameworks and other tools such as SNOW, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.,
- Script interfaces and integration between SDLC tools such as JIRA, Rally, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps Server (TFS), ServiceNow, OpenShift, Harness, etc. using REST, SOAP and other web services.
- Build, test, and maintain custom APIs and web services for seamless data exchange between ServiceNow and external platforms.
- Design and implement pipeline jobs to run static code scans, dynamic scans, and automated unit test and functional test suites
What You bring:
- Should have total 8-10 Years of experience and should have strong experience in below.
- REST APIs (extensive experience)
- GitHub Actions pipelines
- Jenkins pipelines
- Cloud Infra setup experience using Terraform (preferably to both Azure and AWS)
- Kubernetes deployment experience (preferably to both Azure and AWS)
- ServiceNow API development (incl JavaScript experience)
- ServiceNow configuration
- Experience writing automation scripts with scripting utilities such as Python, Groovy, Unix batch shell, PowerShell
