REST API Automation Professional

• Java, API Automation testing with REST Assured, Selenium, BDD cucumber

Mandatory Skills

• At least 4 years hands on REST API automation experience - A must have primary skill.
• Strong experience in Selenium Java and creating framework from scratch.
• Strong experience in API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks with Cucumber. Implementation, execution of automation scenarios, creating test scripts.
• Proficient knowledge in at least one programming language, JAVA is preferred.
• Good experience in Postman/Insomnia tool.
• Good experience in DevOps CICD tools like Jenkins and configuration management tools.
• Experience with version control system such as GitHub.
• Strong experience in API testing, json, and XML, as we'll as exposure to databases.
• Strong experience in test management, defects tracking, and automation tools.
• Strong experience in preparing automated Test data, Test Suite, and Test bed.
• Strong experience in preparing Test plans, Test cases, and Test scripts.
• Strong experience in detecting Bugs, classifying them based on severity, priority and logging them in the defect tracking tool, and managing the defect through the Bug life cycle.
• Strong Knowledge of designing Test cases, verifying, and validating REST API.
• Participates in Scrum and agile estimation taking into consideration product and process requirements.
• Good to Have - Apache JMeter, Gatling and Load runner for performance testing.
• You have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making, and excellent communication with interpersonal skills.
