Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is a healthcare professional responsible for providing medical care to patients in a hospital setting
• They work under the supervision of a senior physician and are responsible for the initial assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
• The RMO is responsible for documenting patient information, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing patient care plans
• In addition, they must communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, and be able to make decisions in emergency situations
• A RMO must have a medical degree, be licensed to practice medicine, and have completed a period of supervised clinical training
• Good organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure, are also important qualities for this role
