Job Description

We are looking for experienced Resident Engineers – Civil to support the execution and supervision of Urban Water Supply / Sewerage / Drainage Infrastructure Projects across various locations in Andhra Pradesh.

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for monitoring project execution at the Urban Local Body (ULB) level, tracking physical and financial progress, supervising contractor activities, and ensuring timely submission of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Water Supply / Sewerage / Drainage construction projects at the site/ULB level.
• Track and report the physical and financial progress of projects.
• Monitor contractor performance and assess the adequacy of:
• Construction materials
• Labour deployment
• Equipment and machinery
• Construction methodologies
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc project deliverables to the Team Leader (TL) / Deputy Team Leader (DTL) within stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, ULB officials, TL/DTL and other project stakeholders.
• Assist the TL and DTL in preparation of Project Completion Reports and project progress reports.
• Identify project delays, execution issues and other site-level concerns and report them to the concerned project team.
• Maintain proper project records, site reports and progress documentation.

Educational Qualification

• BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Required Experience & Skills

• Mandatory experience in Water Supply Projects.
• Experience in Urban Infrastructure / Urban Service Delivery Projects.
• Experience in Water Supply / Sewerage / Drainage Projects.
• Strong experience in Construction Management and Site Supervision.
• Experience in monitoring physical and financial project progress.
• Good understanding of contractor management, construction methods, materials, labour and equipment.
• Experience in preparing project progress reports, monthly/quarterly reports and project deliverables.
• Experience working with Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) will be preferred.
• Candidates should be willing to work at the assigned project location in Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility

BE/B.Tech: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Diploma: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Civil Engineering professionals with hands-on experience in Water Supply / Sewerage / Drainage infrastructure projects, construction supervision, project monitoring and ULB-level project execution.

Salary: Up to ₹61,000/month + ₹4,000/month Local Conveyance Allowance

Contract Duration: 14 months, extendable based on project status
