Resident Engineer (Retail Outlet)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and supervise civil works related to petrol pump construction and pipeline installation as per client specifications.
• Oversee site preparation, foundation works, canopy erection, and underground tank installation.
• Manage trenching, laying, testing, and commissioning of pipelines.
• Prepare daily progress reports, material consumption records, and maintain complete project documentation.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure timely completion of work within the defined budget.
• Handle site measurements, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and billing-related documentation.
• Lead and supervise third-party inspections for quality assurance and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with TPI (Third Party Inspection) agencies for material testing, structural audits, and civil compliance.
• Generate comprehensive inspection reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and oil company standards throughout the construction phases.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• B.E/B.Tech (minimum 3 years) or Diploma (minimum 5 years) in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience in civil works, particularly in petrol pump or retail outlet construction and pipeline infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, quality control practices, and project planning.
• Effective leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
• Capable of independently managing multiple project sites and contractor teams.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
