We are looking for an experienced Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our team at Kites Senior Care, HBR Layout. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in inpatient care, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and a passion for geriatric healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
Provide comprehensive medical care to inpatients.
Conduct initial assessments for new admissions and develop individualized care plans in coordination with the physiotherapy and nursing teams.
Ensure the treatment plan is followed diligently, with detailed discussions on any recommended changes.
Be available 24x7 on call for patient-related assistance.
Perform daily nursing activity audits to ensure adherence to care protocols.
Ensure proper coordination with primary consultants and update patient records with clinical notes.
Communicate regularly with families to provide updates on patient conditions.
Prepare discharge summaries and ensure a smooth transition for patients.
Implement and adhere to NABH standards in patient care.
Administrative & Managerial Duties:
Supervise and coordinate medical activities within the unit.
Improve medical service delivery and operations.
Address and resolve patient grievances in coordination with the team.
Ensure optimum stock management of medicines and medical supplies.
Oversee infection control practices as per protocol.
Participate in medical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Counsel patients and families on admissions and treatment plans.
Identify areas for improvement and introduce innovative care strategies.
Who Can Apply
BAMS graduates with 5-15 years of experience in clinical practice or hospital-based roles.
Experience in elderly care, rehabilitation, or palliative care is a plus.
Strong leadership and coordination skills.
Willingness to work in a 24x7 setup with emergency on-call duties.
