Resident. Critical Care Medicine

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Resident in Critical Care Medicine to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will be involved in the care of critically ill patients and will have the opportunity to enhance their clinical skills in a challenging and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and arterial line insertion.
• Participate in daily rounds with the medical team to discuss patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results to make informed clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about critical care processes and recovery plans.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Skills and Qualifications

• MD in Internal Medicine or equivalent degree.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of critical care protocols and procedures.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
