About the role

We want someone who genuinely likes research, the kind of person who goes down a rabbit hole reading a paper at 11pm because they have to know how it ends.

A big part of this job is finding good reports and research papers across AI, business, startups, and whatever niche we are into that week, then reading them and pulling out what matters. Plenty of people can find a report.

Fewer can read a dense one and explain it in a few clear sentences. That second skill is the one we care about.

The other half is watching what blows up online and figuring out why people shared it and what made it stick.

You will be the person who connects a random industry trend to how humans actually behave.

You should also be comfortable using AI tools every day, since a lot of this work moves faster with them.

What you'll be doing

• Hunting down useful reports, papers, videos, articles and sources in AI, business, startups, tech, and specific industry niches
• Reading the dense stuff and turning it into insights the team can actually use
• Watching what goes viral and breaking down why it worked
• Using AI tools to research faster and dig deeper
• Feeding strong, well-researched ideas into the content we make
• Keeping track of what is new and what is working, and telling us what it means

What we're looking for

• You are good at finding credible sources and making sense of them fast
• You are comfortable using AI tools and use them well in your daily work
• You can read something technical and explain it simply
• You have a feel for why content spreads and how people think
• You actually care about AI, startups, tech, and business, not just as buzzwords
• You can manage your own time in a hybrid setup
• You dig a few layers past the obvious answer, because the obvious answer is usually boring

We honestly do not care about your degree. We care about how you think and how curious you are.
