Summary of Job:
Responsible to lead a team of 6-14 members and leading the LC-MS/ Prep HPLC/ HPLC/teams/analysts for responsible projects analytical tasks delivery with minimal or no supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent handling of the responsible projects analytical tasks with minimal or no supervision.
- Structure based method development for reverse phase purification & trouble shooting the purification challenges.
- Scientific guidance to the team/ analyst to develop the fit for the purpose methods.
- Scientific review and interpretation of analytical results and draw the conclusions.
- Close monitoring of the analytical taks to ensure quality work is delivered as planned. Ensuring proper distribution of tasks and resource utilization.
- Having exposure in handling Discovery CRO projects particularty having deep expertise in Prep HPLC.
- To guide team of analysts, in the following aspects
- Analytical method development approach
- Analysis planning daily basis.
- Generation of required data
- Analytical requirements
- Safety and Laboratory compliance.
- Expected to highlight the potential roadblocks / issues to the Group lead.
- Ensuring to maintain the analytical requirements specific to projects (reagents, columns, etc.)
- Analysis planning daily basis and productivity improvement to meet the TAT timelines.
- Communication: Percolation of information to team members, to update seniors on the analytical challenges and discuss plans for the challenging Targets.
- Active participation in one or two department initiatives.
- Laboratory maintenance: Assigning responsibilities to analysts for good maintenance of laboratory, and ensure safety practices in place.
Experience: Ph.D. with more than 6 years or MSc with more than 12 to 16 year's industry experience in Discovery CRO.
