Position Overview:
Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the position of Research Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess over 15-20 years of research experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering.
- Publish original research in high-impact international journals and present at premier conferences.
- Mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development.
- Secure external research funding through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary research and foster collaborations within the university and with external institutions.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture.
- Provide expert advice on research policy, strategy, and development within the department and university.
- Contribute to academic leadership and participate in research-focused committees and initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry.
- Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputed journals and conferences.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and secure funding.
- Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars.
- Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
