Acrophase at IIT Madras is inviting motivated and research-oriented interns to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of athlete monitoring, wearable sensors, and data-driven physiology.
Position: Research Intern
Location: IIT Madras, Chennai
Duration: 3-6 months internship
What you'll do
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team on real-world datasets involving elite athletes.
- Assist in data collection, processing, and analysis from physiological tests.
- Contribute to experimental design and protocol implementation for athlete performance studies.
- Perform literature reviews and prepare research summaries.
- Support in report writing, visualization, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the team on manuscript preparation for scientific publications.
What are we looking for
- Background in Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of human physiology and sports performance concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, LabVIEW, Python, or MATLAB).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with scientific writing skills
