Research Executive

A Fortune 200 company building its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Research Executive who will support its newly formed market and business intelligence desk out of Bengaluru.

The mandate

This desk exists to give internal stakeholders fast, reliable answers on markets, competitors and regulatory shifts before decisions get made elsewhere. As the desk's first few hires settle in, the Research Executive will be one of the people doing the actual digging: pulling together secondary data, sanity-checking numbers, and turning a scattered set of sources into something a business head can act on in a single read.

What lands on your desk

• Running structured secondary research across company filings, industry reports, trade publications and databases
• Building and maintaining trackers for competitor moves, pricing changes and regulatory updates relevant to the GCC's home business units
• Summarising findings into short, decision-ready notes and slide-level outputs for internal stakeholders
• Supporting senior researchers on ad hoc deep dives, including data cleanup and first-pass analysis
• Maintaining a shared knowledge base so past research does not get re-done from scratch

What we look for in a first assignment

This role suits 0 to 3 years of experience in research, analytics or a related field, and freshers are genuinely welcome to apply. We are hiring for rigor and curiosity more than years on the job. You should be comfortable reading a dense annual report or a regulatory filing and pulling out what actually matters, be precise with numbers, and be able to write a clean, structured note without hand-holding.

Where you would sit

This role is based out of Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad or Pune, or Remote (India), with the desk operating in a hybrid rhythm during its first year.
