Job Description
Research Engineer (Antenna Design Engineer)
Job Summary
We are seeking an Antenna Design Engineer (Research Engineer) to join our Automotive R&D team. The role focuses on the research, design, simulation, prototyping, and validation of automotive antennas supporting advanced vehicle communication systems such as 5G, LTE, GNSS, V2X, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and radar. The ideal candidate will contribute to next-generation connected, autonomous, and electric vehicle platforms through innovative antenna solutions optimized for automotive constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop automotive antennas (embedded, conformal, shark-fin, glass-mounted, PCB, and on-body antennas).
Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations and optimization using tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, or ADS
Develop antenna concepts considering vehicle packaging, styling, thermal, and mechanical constraints.
Prototype, tune, and validate antennas in lab and vehicle environments.
Conduct RF measurements including S-parameters, radiation patterns, efficiency, isolation, and MIMO performance.
Support V2X, cellular, GNSS, UWB, radar, and infotainment systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RF, systems, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing).
Perform vehicle-level antenna integration and co-existence/interference analysis.
Support homologation and compliance testing (e.g., ECE, FCC, CISPR, ISO, SAE).
Document research findings, design guidelines, and test reports.
Contribute to innovation, patents, and technical publications where applicable
Required Qualifications
