Job Title: Research Associate (Executive Search)

Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Research Associate to join our executive search practice. This role is
designed for a strategic thinker who excels at unraveling complex industries and identifying the
leadership talent that drives global markets. You will be the engine of our search process, moving
beyond simple recruitment into the realm of market intelligence and talent advisory.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling search projects across the Industrial,
Automotive, Consumer, and Hospitality sectors, with a deep understanding of how to map and
engage high-level executive talent.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Search Delivery: Lead the search strategy from inception to closure, including
research execution, candidate evaluation, and process management.
- Strategic Market Mapping: Conduct exhaustive primary and secondary research to map
target companies and identify talent pools that align with specific client mandates.
- Candidate Engagement: Own the candidate experience. You will be responsible for engaging,
scoring, and prioritizing senior-level candidates against specific briefing parameters.
- Industry Intelligence: Rapidly deconstruct new industries and competitive landscapes to
provide actionable intel that informs search strategies and client decision-making.
- Client Collaboration: Actively participate in client briefings and lead search progress reviews,
acting as a subject matter expert on the talent market.
- Due Diligence: Identify key referees and conduct discreet soft referencing for shortlisted
candidates to ensure quality and fit.
- Special Projects: Lead non-search assignments, including bespoke market mapping, talent
advisory reports, and internal Knowledge Management initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 3–5+ years of experience in executive search (contingent or retained) or a high-performing
in-house Talent Acquisition team focused on senior-level hires.
- Specific expertise in the Industrial, Automotive, Consumer, or Hospitality sectors is
required.
- Experience within a Knowledge Management Centre (KMC) of an executive search firm is a
significant advantage.
Education
- Bachelor's degree combined with an MBA or equivalent from a reputed academic
institution.
