Applications are invited for the position of Research Assistant (RA) for a project funded by the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore under the SEED Money Grant.

Title of the project : Deep Reinforcement for Intelligent Vehicle Environments in Simulated Urban Indian Traffic (DRIVE-UIT)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Assistant at Christ University, located in Bengaluru. The Research Assistant will conduct research and analysis, support laboratory experiments, collect and process data, prepare reports and presentations, and assist faculty members in ongoing academic projects. The role will also involve contributing to the preparation of research publications and participating in related university activities.

Eligibility

Masters in Data Science/Data Analytics/ Computer Application/Computer Science/ Computer science and Engineering/ allied area

Essential Technical skills

• Knowledge on CARLA, SUMO or Similar type Simulators,
• proficiency in Python Programming,
• Reinforcement Learning [ DRL, PPO, DQN, MARL]

Desirable Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in conducting Data Analysis
• Research abilities and experience in Laboratory Skills
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
