Job Description
The Research & Teaching Assistant (RTA) provides high-level academic, strategic, and operational support to the Director. This role is a unique hybrid of academic research, curriculum development, and executive assistance. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level vision and classroom execution, ensuring that the Director's educational initiatives and strategic projects are data-driven, professionally presented, and effectively delivered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research & Content Development
Conduct deep-market research to identify gaps in current global educational offerings, particularly within the finance and commerce sectors.
Synthesize complex regulatory updates (e.g., changes in taxation, auditing standards, or GST) into digestible summaries for curriculum integration.
Assist in the development of job-ready course syllabi, focusing on practical application rather than theoretical concepts.
Gather and analyze mock data sets for use in case studies and practical workshops.
2. Teaching & Instructional Support
Develop high-quality, professional presentation decks for student counseling and investor-facing sessions.
Coordinate the logistics of intensive training programs, such as Practical Bootcamps, ensuring all instructional materials are finalized.
Assist in the delivery of content, potentially leading breakout sessions or practical software demonstrations (e.g., accounting software or MIS reporting).
Review and grade student assessments, focusing on the practical accuracy of financial filings and reports.
3. Strategic & Investor Relations Support
Maintain and refine the Director's investor-facing materials, including pitch decks and financial forecasting models.
Draft professional correspondence for outreach to potential investors, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
Assist in the branding and identity development of new educational ventures.
Qualifications & Skills
Requirement Description
Education Master's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (e.g., CA, ACCA, or MBA).
Technical Proficiency Advanced knowledge of GST, Income Tax filing, and Audit procedures. Proficiency in MIS reporting tools and AI-powered financial modeling is a plus.
Design Skills Ability to create visually compelling, professional pitch decks and educational presentations (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar).
Analytical Mindset Strong ability to conduct market research and identify emerging trends before they become mainstream.
Communication Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex financial concepts to both students and investors.
