Role Description The Research and Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Australia. This role involves conducting detailed research on Canadian immigration policies, procedures, and program updates to support accurate and up-to-date consulting services. The specialist will analyze data, trends, and regulatory changes, and translate findings into clear internal reports, knowledge resources, and process improvements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with consultants to refine service offerings, maintaining research documentation, performing basic data analyses, and contributing to the development of tools and materials that enhance client guidance. The role also requires regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure that research outcomes are integrated into operational practices and client advisory frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D) and Research skills, with experience in structured data gathering and analysis.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret immigration-related information, identify patterns, and support decision-making.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for preparing reports, explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborating with consulting teams.
  • Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or methodical research process skills, especially in designing and executing systematic studies or evaluations.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with immigration or legal processes, proficiency with data and document management tools, and strong attention to detail.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
