Job Title: R&D Executive
Job Location: Sharjah, UAE (Candidates must be willing to relocate)
Job Overview:
The R&D Executive will support the R&D Manager in conducting NPD trials, maintaining documentation, and ensuring all development activities comply with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in NPD trials in Industrial and Lab setup
- Maintain detailed records of R & D Lab experiments.
- Prepare work instructions and finish product specifications.
- Generate input data required for EPD/NPD BOM creation.
- Evaluate samples of ingredients against controlled samples.
- Assist in maintaining R & D records as per regulatory requirements.
- Send product samples to various sales locations as requested by the customer.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality Department to resolve issues.
- Comply with Good Hygiene Practices and Quality, Food Safety, HSE, BRC and Halal Standards.
- Adhere to Company's Policies and Procedures
- Conduct sensory evaluation sessions and record feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Education: Diploma/bachelor's degree in food science, Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology or any prevalent.
- Basic understanding of beverage ingredients and familiarity with beverage processing steps
- Knowledge of GCC/EU/FDA food standards and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of Lab equipment
- Knowledge of Product Development Process
- Knowledge of Market trends in the Beverage industry.
- Aware of common quality certificates GHP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC
