We seek a motivated engineer to run transmission experiments over field-deployed space-division multiplexed (SDM) fibers. The role involves digital signal processing (DSP), power profiling, crosstalk analysis, and nonlinearity mitigation to improve system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct SDM fiber transmission and characterization experiments.

• Implement DSP algorithms for signal recovery and performance optimization.

• Analyze longitudinal power distribution, crosstalk, and nonlinear effects.

• Develop mitigation strategies using DSP and data-driven methods.
