Research And Development Consultant - Fragrance

Our client, a leading FMCG company, is looking to engage a Consultant to support fragrance evaluation and development activities for personal care and related products.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare application samples for fragrance evaluation and development activities.

Coordinate fragrance assessment sessions, including sample management, scheduling, and documentation of evaluation results.

Track fragrance submissions and development status from fragrance houses throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate the dispatch of unfragranced bases to fragrance houses for fragrance creation and optimisation, and follow up on submissions.

Maintain accurate records of fragrance briefs, submissions, evaluation results, and project trackers.

Support the day-to-day execution of fragrance development projects to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

Skills Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Oils Technology, or a Postgraduate Programme in Fragrance and Flavour.

1–3 years of experience in FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, fragrance, or product development support.

Prior experience as a Fragrance Evaluator, Trainee Perfumer, or Blending Assistant would be preferred.

Strong coordination, documentation, and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple samples and track project deliverables effectively.
