About the Role:

The R&D Research Associate will support lab-scale research, process optimization, and scale-up of specialty molecules, contributing directly to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform synthesis and process development experiments

Prepare reagents, run reactions, and monitor using TLC, HPLC, GC, NMR, etc.

Document experiments and results accurately

Support scale-up from gram to kilogram levels and process transfer

Work on esters, surfactants, polymer intermediates, and fine chemicals

Assist in analytical methods, sample submissions, and evaluations

Ensure lab safety, hygiene, and inventory management

Qualifications:

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or related field

13 years of R&D lab experience in chemicals/specialty chemicals

Hands-on experience in synthesis and analytical techniques

Basic understanding of scale-up and process parameters

Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
