Job Description
- Analyse financial data to support treasury management and decision-making.
- Conduct equity/fund/strategy research and basic due diligence.
- Coordinate with PMS/AIF/funds, brokers, and custodians for data, statements, and clarifications.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity levels for operational needs.
- Prepare and present treasury reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Track portfolio holdings, performance, exposures, and corporate actions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend actions to maximise returns.
- Contribute to process improvements within the treasury function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Research Analyst should have:
- Graduate/postgraduate in finance, economics, commerce, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA/ CFA progress) are an advantage
- 2-5 years in investment research, PMS/wealth management, family office, or buy-side/sell-side role with exposure to reporting and execution support.
- Exposure in working with a family office is an add-on.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial risks.
