Role objective:
Support leadership in data-driven decision-making for our hospitality venture by conducting research on hotel brands, market trends, demand outlook, and long-term sector shifts.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct primary and secondary research on hotel brands (positioning, pipeline, performance, operator track record).
• Track hospitality market data: demand-supply, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pricing trends, and development pipelines.
• Build competitor benchmarking dashboards across markets and brands.
• Analyse feasibility inputs for new hotel projects and locations.
• Study consumer trends, travel patterns, and emerging segments (leisure, branded residences, wellness, etc.).
• Develop long-term outlook reports (5–10 year demand, sector risks, global trends impacting India).
• Support investment memos, board notes, and strategy documents.
• Work with consultants, operators, and internal teams to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
Candidate profile:
• 1–4 years of experience in research, consulting, hospitality analytics, IB/PE research, or real estate advisory.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of STR/HotStats/industry databases is a plus).
• Ability to convert data into strategic insights and decision-ready presentations.
• Interest in hospitality, travel, real estate, and consumer sectors.
Education:
MBA / Bachelor's in Economics, Hotel Management, Finance, Statistics, or related fields.
Outcome expected:
Enable leadership to make informed decisions on brand selection, location strategy, partnerships, and long-term portfolio planning.
