Role: Research Analyst, Financials
Location: Mumbai
Responsibilities
This role will be a part of an India focused Fundamental Equities investment team, working closely with an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct fundamental research and analysis on financials sector companies.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and company-specific developments.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the financials sector.
- Participate in company meetings and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with the Senior Portfolio Manager and other team members throughout the research and idea generation process.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in equity research with a focus on financials sector (Middle East, India, ASEAN or Australia or other major markets)
- Strong fundamental research capabilities especially in financial modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
