Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Research Analyst with strong domain expertise in Chemicals and Materials to support high-impact market research and consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in market sizing, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis across core chemical segments and advanced materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research across core chemicals and materials segments such as specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers, composites, advanced materials, and functional materials.
- Develop market estimates and forecasts including market size, growth rates (CAGR), demandsupply analysis, and pricing trends.
- Perform competitive landscape analysis, including company profiling, market share analysis, SWOT, and benchmarking.
- Analyze value chains, raw material trends, cost structures, and technology developments.
- Track regulatory, environmental, and sustainability trends impacting the chemicals and materials industry.
- Prepare client-ready deliverables including reports, presentations, dashboards, and insights decks.
- Work closely with senior analysts and project managers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Support custom consulting projects, proposal development, and client discussions when required.
- Continuously monitor industry news, M&A activity, capacity expansions, and technological innovations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of core chemical and materials markets and their applications across end-use industries.
- Proficiency in market research methodologies (primary & secondary research).
- Experience with market modeling, forecasting, and data triangulation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with databases and research tools is a plus.
