About the Role
We are looking for a Market Research Specialist to join our Aerospace Sensors business. The ideal candidate will have strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights through market, competitor, and product analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research & analysis on markets, competitors, and products within the Aerospace Sensors domain.
- Identify key market insights through desktop research, voice-of-customer (VoC) inputs, and industry assessments.
- Support in market segmentation, value chain analysis, and industry trend identification.
- Prepare Country Landscapes and Playbooks to support business growth strategies.
- Perform competitor benchmarking and competitive analysis.
- Build and maintain Excel models and Tableau dashboards for data analysis and market forecasting.
- Identify whitespaces and adjacencies for business opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives and provide insights for leadership decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Strategy, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Marketing, Business Development, or Sales.
- Strong research skills and proficiency with search engines, web analytics, and LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT).
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create clear, data-driven presentations.
- Ability to analyze large datasets, develop dashboards, and extract insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Independent, self-driven, with the ability to formulate recommendations and POVs for leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
- Prior exposure to Aerospace, Defense, Space, or Industrial markets.
- Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools.
