79th East Private Limited is a Hyderabad-based investment services firm – an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-364145) and a distributor of Portfolio Management Services. Our work is research-led: we build our own view on funds and stocks rather than passing on someone else's.

The role

You will build and maintain the firm's internal view of markets, funds and stocks. This research is for our own use – it shapes what we recommend and how we guide clients. It is hands-on analytical work from day one, not a support role.

Key responsibilities

• Mutual fund due diligence – category comparisons, factsheet and portfolio analysis, performance and risk attribution, and maintaining the recommended-fund list.
• Single-stock analysis – screening, financial analysis and sector work, to our house factsheet format.
• Support the equity basket products: construction, periodic review and reconciliation.
• Client portfolio analysis – overlap and look-through studies, rebalancing notes and investment-committee notes.
• Draft investor-facing material – the monthly market letter, blog articles and webinar content – in plain, accurate language.
• Keep the research process documented and repeatable, with every figure traceable to its source.

What you must bring

• Valid NISM Series XV (Research Analyst) certificate – mandatory.
• 2–3 years in equity or mutual fund research, or a research-facing role at a broking house, AMC, wealth firm or research provider.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis; comfortable building and auditing a model.
• Ability to write clearly for a non-specialist reader.
• Graduate in commerce, finance or economics.
• Hyderabad local candidates only – the role is on-site at Ameerpet.

Added advantage

• NISM Series V-A, VIII or XXI-A.
• CFA (any level), FRM or MBA (Finance).
• Screener, Capitaline, Ace Equity, Bloomberg or similar research tools.
• Working knowledge of AI tools such as Claude.
• Proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi.

Location and salary

• Location: Ameerpet, Hyderabad – full-time, on-site.
• Salary: up to Rs 5,00,000 per year (CTC), based on experience.
