The Research & Analysis Intern will support Omysha Foundation's Research & Analysis Bureau by producing structured, high-quality research that informs strategy, partnerships, policy conversations, and program design across A4G and VONG.

This role is suited for individuals who enjoy deep thinking, synthesis, writing, and making sense of complex systems across AI governance, sustainability, mental well-being, public policy, and social impact. The intern will work closely with senior team members to translate research into usable insights for decision-making and external engagement.

This is not a passive research role. It requires intellectual ownership, clarity of thought, and comfort working on open-ended, high-responsibility problems.Key Responsibilities1. Applie

d Research & Analysis

• Conduct desk research by analysing policy documents, academic literature, reports, and credible open sources

• Analyse emerging trends, frameworks, and case studies relevant to AI for Good, governance, sustainability, and youth engagement

• Support comparative and thematic analysis across geographies and sectors

2. Insight Development & Knowledge Synthesis

• Convert research findings into concept notes and insight documents

• Develop concept notes, background papers, and issue briefs for internal and external use

• Support creation of research-backed narratives for programs, partnerships, and events of Omysha Foundation

3. Policy & Strategy Support

• Assist in policy mapping and analysis related to AI governance, mental well-being, sustainability, and SDGs

• Support strategy development by providing evidence-based inputs

• Track developments in relevant national and global policy ecosystems

4. Program & Initiative Support (A4G & VONG)

• Support research needs for A4G and VONG initiatives

• Assist in designing frameworks, indicators, evaluation and strategic thinking where required

• Contribute to thought leadership outputs, reports, and be included white papers as co-authors ( if the other stakeholders allow)

5. Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain structured research repositories, CRM and internal documentation

• Support citation, referencing, and version control as per the particular industry format. For eg for mental well being follow APA citation format

• Assist in preparing research summaries and internal reports

Who This Role Is For

• Strong curiousity in research, reading, writing, and analytical skills

• Comfort with ambiguity and open-ended problem statements to convert it into higher order thinking value documents.

• Interest in AI, policy, sustainability, mental well-being, and social impact & social entrepreneurship

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently where required r

• Prior research, policy, or analytical experience is a plus, not a requirement but basic understanding of research paradigm and general format is required
